Employment Voice Ka Fai & Johnson
In the afternoon of January 11th, Wendy accompanied me to the staff co-op shop to meet Rowena and learned the task of this transitional employment. January 17th was my first day of work. Bo Yin acted as the cashier while I counted and packed the goods. Besides, I counted the gift or cake coupons and so on. There were many people passed by although the co-op shop was so small. Therefore, I had to refill, count and pack the goods quickly. If we had to be a cashier and count the goods at the same time, there would be a long queue. I felt that I could never be able to complete the job. However, I would try my best. Although it was five o'clock already, we continued our work until all the customers were served. In these few hours, I felt so tired that I was not as helpful as I was. My ability to work was lower as compared with the past. Before the training, Eva, other staff and members of the Phoenix Clubhouse had encouraged and supported us. We will work hard and leave a good impression to the co-op shop manager. |
